International Coffee In A Local Way: Bauer’s Brews

Bauer's Brews

Mike Bauer, owner of Bauer’s Brews, developed the drive to become an entrepreneur early on and even started his own skate board company at the age of 12! He’s always dreamed big and was in search of his next business venture.

When the pandemic hit, everything shut down, including cafes, which gave Mike the idea and time, to develop his next idea…making his own coffee. He wanted to create a product that was different, delicious and his own so he started doing his homework.

After months of work he had his process down. Mike sources his coffee from around the world from 18 different countries and starts by roasting the coffee in Brooklyn and then bags it into his different blends like the “Morning Stretch” or “Cawfee Talk.” He also packages “Single Origin” bags which is coffee from 1 farm only and not blended.

He even created his own system to create Cold Brew coffee which is Mike’s best seller. Cold brew is brewed with cold water and can be a tricky process, but not for Mike. His Cold Brew coffee is delicious and can be found in local deli’s, store’s and even restaurants like Leilu or Over Easy in Huntington. TIP: if you like espresso martinis, try it with Bauer’s Brew Espresso Concentrate!! It’s a game changer.

If you want to get your hands on some of Bauer’s Brews, head to their website. They ship nationwide and can also be found at local Farmers Markets like the Long Island Farmers Market in Huntington on Sunday’s! Mike even offers a reward card where your 5th cup of coffee is free so make sure to stop at his booth when you are supporting local for a fresh cup of his brew!

The next time you’re craving coffee, avoid the big names. They make enough money off the world. Give Bauer’s Brew a try and support local! You can thank me later.
