The Long Island Pizza Festival Heads to Nassau Coliseum for an Even Bigger Celebration of Pizza, Music, and Community

Long Island’s love affair with pizza is about to take center stage once again as the Long Island Pizza Festival returns for its second year — and this time, it’s going even bigger. After drawing more than 2,000 pizza lovers to Milldam Park in Huntington last September, the festival is back on Saturday, September 19th, 2026, at the iconic Nassau Coliseum for a full day dedicated to some of the best pizza Long Island has to offer.

Created by Frank Antonetti of 1653 Pizza Company, the festival quickly became one of the most talked-about food events on Long Island, bringing together local pizzerias, live entertainment, vendors, and thousands of hungry attendees for an unforgettable day.

A Slice of Success in Year One

The inaugural Long Island Pizza Festival proved that Long Islanders take their pizza seriously. Held at Milldam Park, the event featured a stacked lineup of beloved pizza spots including Taglio Pizza, Tori T’s Pizza, Serpico’s Bread Co., and many more local favorites.

Guests spent the day sampling slices from across the island while enjoying live music, local vendors, and a community atmosphere that celebrated Long Island’s thriving food scene. The overwhelming turnout and positive response made one thing clear — Long Island wanted more pizza festival magic.

Bigger Venue, Bigger Lineup, Bigger Energy

Now entering its second year, the Long Island Pizza Festival is leveling up in a major way with a move to Nassau Coliseum, allowing for an even larger lineup of pizzerias, entertainment, and experiences. Festival organizers promise a high-energy atmosphere packed with pizza, drinks, music, and local flavor all day long. One of the biggest highlights of the event will be live music from Mike DelGuidice and his band, widely known as Long Island’s premier Billy Joel tribute experience.

Additional local musical acts and pizzeria announcements are expected to roll out soon, building excitement leading up to the event.

Supporting a Great Cause

Beyond the pizza and entertainment, the festival also has a meaningful mission behind it. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Long Island Pizza Strong, an initiative of Dine LI that supports Long Island communities and local causes through the power of food and hospitality.

The festival not only shines a spotlight on Long Island’s incredible pizza culture, but also helps give back to the local community that continues to support small businesses and independent restaurants across the island.

A Must-Attend Event for Pizza Lovers

From classic New York slices to creative artisan pies, the Long Island Pizza Festival is shaping up to be one of the can’t-miss food events of the year. Whether attendees are passionate pizza connoisseurs or simply looking for a fun day out with friends and family, the festival promises an unforgettable experience filled with incredible food, live entertainment, and Long Island pride.

With anticipation already building after the success of year one, tickets are expected to move quickly once they are released. Pizza lovers are encouraged to keep an eye out for upcoming lineup announcements and secure tickets early for Saturday, September 19th, 2026, for what is sure to be one epic Long Island celebration.
