An evening of lights, community, and local spirit in the West End
Long Beach is set to sparkle once again as the Annual Long Beach Electric Light Parade returns on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Each year, this cherished local tradition brings families, neighbors, and visitors together to celebrate the magic of the season. With the West End glowing from block to block, the parade offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy festive fun—and support the incredible local businesses that make Long Beach so special.
A Parade That Lights Up the West End
The Electric Light Parade officially steps off at 6:00 PM from Ohio Avenue, moving west along West Beech Street. Spectators can look forward to antique cars, fire trucks, floats, and bicycles wrapped in dazzling Christmas lights. Whether it’s the creativity, the craftsmanship, or the sheer holiday cheer on display, every entry brings something unique to the night.
Local organizations and participants will compete for awards honoring the most festive displays, adding an extra spark of excitement to the evening.

More Than a Parade: A Night of Local Fun
After the parade, the celebration continues throughout the West End. Many restaurants and local eateries will be offering specials, making it the perfect time to enjoy a warm meal, a holiday cocktail, or a sweet treat from a favorite neighborhood spot.
Families can also look forward to kids’ activities popping up at participating businesses—another great way to keep the community gathering going long after the last float passes.
Easy Access for All
To make attending as convenient as possible, parking will be available at the Long Beach Catholic Regional School yard via West Broadway, as well as the LIRR Parking Deck.
Beginning at 4:30 PM, shuttle buses will run every 15 minutes from the LIRR Station to Ohio Avenue, then to Long Beach Catholic School, and back to the station. With smooth transportation and plenty of viewing spots, it’s simple for everyone to join in the festivities.
Celebrate the Season—Long Beach Style
The Long Beach Electric Light Parade is more than just a beautiful sight—it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and local pride. Whether you’re cheering from the curb, grabbing dinner with friends afterward, or shopping small throughout the West End, this annual event offers countless ways to enjoy the holiday spirit.
Mark your calendars, bundle up, and make a night of it. Come experience the glow, support local businesses, and be part of one of Long Beach’s brightest traditions.
