The beloved Green Street space gets a delicious new beginning—just in time for the holidays.
Ever since Finley’s closed its doors, Huntington locals have been buzzing with one question: What will take its place? Now, that anticipation finally has an answer. Mighty Fine —known for fun food, exceptional pies, wine, and a warm, community-minded atmosphere—is officially opening its first location as a December Holiday Pop-Up at 43 Green Street.
But here’s something many residents don’t know: Finley’s actually operated as two separate properties.
The restaurant building and outdoor areas are owned by the Finley family. The main bar area, however, was a leased space—and that lease is no longer part of Finley’s.
Mighty Fine is taking over the former restaurant portion, bringing fresh life to the space. But the bar side? That remains a separate property entirely. Stay tuned—exciting news is expected soon about what will be moving into that bar space!
If you love discovering the next great food spot before the crowds rush in, this pop-up is your chance.
Introducing Mighty Fine
Daria Lamb, owner and entrepreneur, is no newcomer to Long Island’s culinary world. Many may remember her from Oyster Bay’s Bookmark Café and Page Two Bakery. Mighty Fine marks her highly anticipated return—this time with a mission to reinvent the American café experience from the ground up.
Visitors can expect:
Sweet and savory pies made from scratch
Comfort-driven sandwiches, salads, biscuits & baked goods
A curated selection of local wine & beer
A warm indoor/outdoor environment ideal for gathering
A focus on quality regional ingredients
Lamb’s signature greeting—“mighty fine”—is the spirit she hopes guests carry with them when they leave.
