On Saturday, October 18th, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, locals and visitors alike will gather for a mouthwatering afternoon filled with creativity, community, and of course—chowder.
Hosted by the Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, this delicious event is part of the annual Harvest Fest celebration, inviting guests to sample an incredible lineup of chowders crafted by some of the area’s most talented chefs.
Taste Your Way Through the Village
For just $30, ticket holders can stroll through the picturesque streets of downtown Port Jefferson, stopping at each participating restaurant to enjoy a sample of their signature chowder. Whether you crave classic New England clam chowder, a hearty seafood medley, or a creative twist like corn or curry chowder, there’s something for every palate.
The fun doesn’t stop at tasting—guests also get to vote for their favorite chowder! Simply scan the QR code on your ticket or at each location and cast your vote for the top contender in this friendly competition.

Tickets can be purchased online through Zeffy. Once ticket booklets are ready, participants will be notified for pickup—just remember to bring your Zeffy receipt as proof of purchase.
There are no refunds, but a rain date is set for Sunday, October 19th (same time), only in the event of severe weather or torrential downpours.
