A Family-Friendly Celebration of Pickles, History, and Community Spirit
The Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association is once again bringing the community together for its much-anticipated 45th Annual Pickle Festival on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Taking place at the scenic John Gardiner Farm, 900 Park Avenue, Huntington (corner of Little Plains Road and Park Avenue), this cherished local event is more than just a festival—it’s a celebration of community, history, and, of course, pickles!
Activities for All Ages at the Pickle Festival
The Pickle Festival is packed with activities the whole family can enjoy. Festivalgoers can hop aboard the historic Lollipop Farm Train, take a relaxing hayride, or marvel at a collection of antique cars. A large arts & crafts market will be open, featuring unique handmade items perfect for browsing or taking home.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, there will be live music throughout the day, as well as a pickle history display where guests can learn about the legacy of everyone’s favorite crunchy snack.

A Feast for Pickle Lovers
No Pickle Festival would be complete without plenty of ways to enjoy this briny favorite. Visitors can indulge in special pickles, crispy fried pickles, and convenient handheld pickles. For those craving more, the event will also feature roasted corn, fresh baked goods, food and drinks, and a variety of festival favorites. Plus, the farm stand will be open during the event, offering even more delicious options.
Supporting Local History
Admission to the festival is just $5 for non-members and $4 for members of the Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association. Best of all, children under 12 enter free. Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting the important work of the historical association, helping preserve the rich heritage of the Greenlawn-Centerport community.
