The Impractical Jokers star hits The Paramount on May 16th with a wildly funny, one-of-a-kind interactive comedy show.
James Murray, better known as “Murr” from the wildly popular TBS series Impractical Jokers, is heading to The Paramount in Huntington on Friday, May 16th for a night of side-splitting comedy with his brand-new live show, The Errors Tour.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, and fans can expect an evening filled with outrageous stories, never-before-seen footage, and a full-blown interactive experience unlike anything they’ve seen before.
Murr Live: Comedy with a Twist
Murr has spent over a decade making America laugh as part of the Impractical Jokers crew, a group of lifelong friends—Brian “Q” Quinn, Joe Gatto, Sal Vulcano, and Murr himself—who compete in absurd hidden-camera challenges and over-the-top public dares. With The Errors Tour, Murr brings his signature humor to the stage, combining stand-up comedy with real-time pranks that unfold live before your eyes.
The first half of the show dives into the hilarious “errors” and embarrassing moments Murr has faced throughout his life and career. But the second half is where things get truly unpredictable: Murr sends someone from the audience out into the street with an earpiece and a camera crew to pull off live pranks—guided entirely by Murr and the audience. It’s improv, it’s chaos, and it’s uniquely Murr.
Expect the Unexpected
In a recent interview, Murr teased a story involving the police at one of his live shows—a story that highlights just how spontaneous and wild his performances can get. If you want to hear it straight from him, you can check out the full interview below!👇
From Comedy to the Big Screen
Beyond comedy, Murr is also an accomplished author. He’s written ten books, and his 2020 thriller Don’t Move—co-authored with Darren Wearmouth—has been adapted into a feature film slated to hit theaters this fall.
The horror thriller follows Megan Forrester (played by Lyndsy Fonseca) as a relaxing camping trip with her church group turns deadly in a forest hunted by a mysterious predator. The cast is stacked with familiar faces, including Russ, Tom Cavanagh, Rob Riggle, T-Pain, and fellow Joker Brian Quinn. Murr not only co-wrote the screenplay but also served as a producer and appears in the film himself.
