Jackson Hall and Town Bagel Lead the Fight for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is in full swing, and two beloved Long Island businesses—Jackson Hall in East Islip and Town Bagel in Plainview—are stepping up in a big way. These community-driven establishments are joining forces to raise both awareness and critical funds to support the fight against breast cancer. With heartfelt events, donations, and special offerings, they are making a significant impact.
Jackson Hall’s “All Boobs Matter” Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness
On Monday, October 21st, Jackson Hall will host the second annual “All Boobs Matter” breast cancer awareness fundraiser, an event deeply rooted in the personal journey of Chef Mike Landesberg. After being diagnosed with breast cancer himself, Chef Mike has dedicated his efforts to spreading awareness and raising funds to support breast cancer organizations.
This year’s fundraiser, from 4-8 PM, will benefit the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition and the Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance, with 100% of the net proceeds going directly to these charities. Last year’s event raised over $25,000, and with the community’s ongoing support, this year aims to exceed that milestone.
What to Expect at the “All Boobs Matter”
Guests can enjoy a fun-filled evening with raffles, drink specials, and a delicious dinner served in two seatings (4 PM and 6 PM). The event also features an exciting raffle offering three tiers of prizes, including gift cards from over 100 local restaurants, sports memorabilia, a Weber grill, jewelry, and even a Siesta Key vacation package. Outdoor seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with tent coverage in case of rain.
To secure a reservation, call (631) 277-7100, but even if you can’t grab a table, you’re encouraged to stop by for a cocktail and partake in the raffle to show your support. For more information, click HERE!
Town Bagel’s Pink Mini Bagels for Breast Cancer Awareness
Joining forces with Jackson Hall, Steve Cohen, owner of Town Bagel in Plainview, is also playing his part in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, Town Bagel is selling pink mini bagels, with 100% of the proceeds going toward the “All Boobs Matter” fundraiser. Steve’s dedication to the cause doesn’t stop there—he’s already donated over $1,000 to support the event and even outfitted his staff in pink shirts to raise awareness.
If you’re in the Plainview area, make sure to grab one of these pink bagels and show your support for breast cancer awareness. Town Bagel’s contribution not only helps raise funds, but also brings attention to the importance of early detection and research.
