A Seasonal Gem Serving Coastal Italian Fare, Stellar Cocktails, and Unforgettable Celebrations

Nestled in a lovingly restored 1880s home along Highway 27, Moby’s delivers not just a meal, but a full experience. Moby’s offers seasonally inspired coastal Italian cuisine, breezy indoor-outdoor spaces, and one of the most picturesque venues around for weddings, parties, or simply sipping cocktails under the stars.
Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, gathering friends for a sun-soaked afternoon, or hosting a milestone celebration, Moby’s offers a fresh, flavorful, and flexible setting that’s pure Hamptons charm.

Moby’s is a Dining Destination That Delivers
From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the layout—an inviting sprawl of cozy rooms, chic patios, and garden spaces. On a sunny May afternoon, we grabbed a picnic table outdoors and settled in for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
What to Start With
The Homemade Focaccia with dips is the kind of starter that makes you pause in bliss. Soft, golden, and slightly crisp on the edges, the bread is elevated by a trio of flavorful accompaniments: whipped ricotta, eggplant caponata, and basil pesto. It’s a must-order.

The Golden Beets with whipped goat cheese, shallot vinaigrette, and pine nuts not only pop with seasonal color but also with vibrant flavor. Our server mentioned the color changes depending on the time of year—what a lovely, thoughtful detail.
We also tried the Kale Caesar, Moby’s fresh spin on the classic. Made with Tuscan kale, anchovy garlic dressing, lemon, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs, it’s light yet flavorful and perfect for a summer day.
The Tuna Crudo was exciting with avocado, calabrian chile, cilantro, and jalapeño on top. If you’re a Tuna Crudo fan and like a little kick, this is the perfect dish for you.
Moby’s Wood Fired Pizza’s
Don’t even think about leaving Moby’s without trying one (or two) of their wood-fired pizzas. We went with the Cacio e Pepe, a rich blend of pecorino, taleggio, fontina, and black peppercorn, and the Soppressata, topped with pork salumi, tomato, mozzarella, and a drizzle of hot honey. The crust? Crispy perfection.
Entree’s Worth Ordering
We chose the Spaghetti with shrimp, white wine, garlic, tomato, lemon, parsley, and pangrattato. It was light, bright, and beautifully balanced. We also tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, featuring purple cabbage slaw, Calabrian chili aioli, pickles, and crisp shoestring fries—a bold, satisfying finish.
Drinks That Pack a Punch
The Spicy Margarita, crafted with tequila, passion fruit, mango, lime, habanero, and a tajin rim, was the ultimate summer sipper. Refreshing, fruity, and fiery—just the way we like it. Insider tip: grab a bottle to go if you’re staying overnight.
Save Room for Dessert
We sampled three, because why not? The Chocolate Mousse with toasted hazelnuts was our hands-down favorite (there were actual spoon wars), followed by the bright Lemon Cake and indulgent Cheesecake Tart with local berries.
Events, Weddings & Celebrations—Moby’s Does It All
Beyond its top-tier food and service, Moby’s shines as an event venue. From cozy daytime gatherings to full-blown weddings, their beautifully designed indoor and outdoor spaces can flex to fit nearly any vision.
The Sicilian Courtyard seats 12 under a retractable roof—perfect for an intimate dinner.
The Aperitivo Room and Cafe accommodate sunny daytime brunches or cocktail-style evenings for up to 40 guests.
The Patio is a semi-private, covered space for groups of up to 75—complete with private bar and panoramic windows.
For something more exclusive, a full buyout of the property can host up to 250 guests with access to all garden and dining spaces—ideal for weddings, corporate events, and large-scale celebrations.

Every element is polished and personal, thanks to the leadership of Manager John Gargano, who ensures that each guest—whether a table of two or a wedding party—is treated like VIP.
