A Creative Celebration of Art and Nature

This spring, Old Westbury Gardens will transform into a vibrant outdoor gallery as it welcomes Nature Connects: Made with LEGO® Bricks, a breathtaking exhibition by renowned artist Sean Kenney. Opening May 16, 2026, and running through September 7, this award-winning showcase blends art, science, and storytelling in a way that captivates visitors of all ages.

Members of Old Westbury Gardens will receive an exclusive first look during a special preview on May 15, offering an early opportunity to experience the magic before the public opening.

Sculptures That Tell a Story

Produced by Imagine, Nature Connects features stunning, large-scale sculptures crafted entirely from LEGO® bricks. But beyond their visual appeal, these intricate works dive deep into meaningful themes—highlighting endangered animals, fragile ecosystems, and the delicate balance that connects all living things.

Each piece reflects Kenney’s passion for conservation and environmental awareness, illustrating how even the smallest elements—like individual LEGO bricks—come together to form something extraordinary, much like nature itself.

Inspiring Curiosity Through Creativity

Visitors are encouraged not only to admire the artistry but also to reflect on their own connection to the environment. The exhibition explores relationships in nature—from predator and prey to humans and their surroundings—while sparking curiosity and creativity in guests of all ages.

Set against the lush landscapes and historic charm of Old Westbury Gardens, the exhibit creates a unique experience where art and nature seamlessly intertwine.
