Sayville continues to prove why it’s one of Long Island’s most charming downtown destinations. With its walkable streets, welcoming vibe, and growing list of local businesses, the town has recently welcomed several exciting newcomers that are already creating buzz.

From a candy shop that feels like a childhood dream to authentic tacos, stylish fashion finds, and a refreshed seafood spot, these new additions are giving locals and visitors even more reasons to spend the day exploring Sayville.

A Candy Lover’s Dream: Saturday Candy Co.

If you have a sweet tooth, Saturday Candy Co. is a must-visit.

After the success of its first location in Stony Brook, this vibrant candy shop has opened its second outpost right in the heart of Sayville. Known for its impressive selection of Swedish candy and its signature self-serve candy wall, the shop offers a fun, interactive experience where customers can mix and match their favorite treats.

Opening just in time for spring and Easter, it’s the perfect place to build a custom candy bag or pick up something unique. The shop is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., making it an easy stop during any Sayville outing.

Taco Nights Just Got Better: Tommy Tacos at The BBQ King

Sayville’s dining scene just got a flavorful upgrade with Tommy Tacos at The BBQ King.

An extension of the popular Huntington Station favorite, Tommy Tacos y Tequila, this concept brings its signature bold flavors and authentic Mexican dishes to a new audience. Known for fresh, high-quality ingredients and especially its slow-braised meats and birria tacos, it’s quickly becoming a go-to for taco lovers.

Operating within The BBQ King, this unique setup offers a casual, laid-back atmosphere where guests can enjoy tacos, burritos, and more. Currently open Tuesday through Saturday from 4–9 p.m. (hours may vary seasonally), it’s the perfect dinner stop after a day in town.
