It’s Fall Festival Season on Long Island!
Fall will soon be upon us and with that, comes all the fun fall festivities we all look so forward to. Including, Fall Festivals! Long Island is home to so many so to help you out, we made a list of the best ones around and in the order that they are happening.
Fall Festivals Happening on Long Island
Seaford Fall Harvest Fair
When: Sunday September 29th
Time: 10am-5:00pm
Where: 3890 Waverly Ave, Seaford, NY
What to Expect: The 16th annual Seaford Fall Harvest Fair is hosted by the Seaford Historical Society and is a celebration of the Autumnal Harvest. There will be plenty of food, entertainment and local vendors! Admission is free too!
Malverne Fall Festival and Classic Car Show
When: Sunday September 29th
Time: 11:30am-4:00pm
Where: 280 Hempstead Ave, Malverne, NY
What to Expect: The 31st Annual Malverne Fall Festival will feature classic cars, live music, dance performances and local vendors! In addition, you’ll find Food Trucks, rides and games! Admission is free and will be day of fun for the whole family.
Babylon Fall Harvest Fair
When: Saturday October 5th (rain date: October 12th)
Time: 1:00pm-6:00pm
Where: Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between 12:00pm-7:00pm for the event
What to Expect: Come support “The Best of Babylon” and eat, drink and shop Local! The local restaurants, cafés, and bakeries will be serving up their specialties all day! The local retail stores and boutiques will be showcasing their unique items and there will be Live performances on stage by professional musicians from Long Island! There will also be local vendors on the street including food truck vendors, inflatables, games, and prizes! Admission is free.
Long Island Fall Festival
When: Friday October 11th-Monday October 14th
Time: Fri: 5:00pm-10:00pm, Sat & Sun: 11:00am-10:00pm, Mon: 11:00am-5:00pm
Where: Heckscher Park (and surrounding areas) in Huntington, NY
What to Expect: The Long Island Fall Festival is presented by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce and is the largest on Long Island. This event will take place both inside and outside of Heckscher Park. Inside the park you’ll find local vendors, some of Long Island’s best Food Trucks, the best carnival rides supplied by Newton Shows, games and live entertainment on the Chapin Stage all weekend long. Don’t miss the Meatball Eating Competition and make sure to check out all of the local vendors surrounding the outside of the park as well! Admission is free.
Mineola Fall Festival
When: Saturday October 19th
Time: 12:00pm-6:00pm
Where: Mineola Memorial Park 195 Marcellus Road, Mineola, NY
What to Expect: You can expect Food Trucks, beer & wine, live musical performances, food vendors, seasonal finds, kids activities and much more at the Mineola Fall Festival!
Fall Festival at Tanner Park
When: Saturday October 19th
Time: 4pm-7pm (Screening of Hocus Pocus at 7pm)
Where: Tanner Park in Copiague (Baylawn Ave)
What to Expect: Attendees can enjoy popular activities such as the hayride, pumpkin picking, and a giant maze, while live music will be provided by SouthBound, a four-piece band known for captivating audiences with their showmanship and energy. Following the festival, there will be a screening of “Hocus Pocus” under the stars, starting at 7 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and wear their favorite Halloween costumes. Admission is free for both the festival and movie.
The Moriches Fall Festival
When: Sunday October 20th
Time: 10:00am-5:00pm
Where: Lake Ave, Center Moriches, NY
What to Expect: Spend the day taking in the autumn weather with a shoreline with listening to live music, shopping with local vendors, and eating delicious food. There will be no rain date for this event and Main Street will closed for the duration of the fair.
