Jack’s Nightmare & Pumpkin King, Rockville Centre & Farmingdale
Inspired by Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” two pop-up events are bringing the beloved characters of Jack Skellington, Sally, and Oogie Boogie to life. Jack’s Nightmare at The Ainsworth in Rockville Centre runs from September 27 to November 3, offering a 90-minute experience complete with photo-ops and visits from the spooky trio. Guests will enjoy a haunting moonlit hill backdrop while interacting with their favorite characters. A full menu of Halloween-themed food and cocktails will soon be revealed, and every attendee will take home a black souvenir cup with the Jack’s Nightmare logo.
Similarly, the Pumpkin King Halloween Pop-Up Bar at Alibi Lounge in Farmingdale will also feature a “Nightmare Before Christmas” theme from September 20 to November 3. Guests can expect a similarly immersive atmosphere with themed decor and drinks.

Running from September 20 to November 3, this event is inspired by the Disney classic “Hocus Pocus” and stars the Salem Sisters, a playful nod to the Sanderson Sisters. Guests will enjoy spellbinding performances, personal interactions with the witches, and photo-ops in front of a bubbling cauldron, potion shelf, and eerie cemetery backdrop.
The 90-minute seating offers a menu of themed appetizers, salads, and entrees like cranberry barbecue chicken wings, pumpkin ravioli, and chicken alla vodka.
