Outdoor Dining in Babylon

The warmer weather is here which means its time to start dining outside again! Long Island has a ton of great foodie towns and one of my favorites is Babylon. There are so many great restaurants to choose from and many offer outdoor dining options. From wine bars, to taco spots, to water views…Babylon has it all. Below you will find the best spots for Outdoor Dining in Babylon.

Outdoor Dining in Babylon

Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar (4.5 google rating)

Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar is one of my absolute favorite spots to eat outdoors in Babylon. They have high top seating in front that is great for people watching and alley way seating for more intimate dining. When I say alleyway, I mean a beautifully lit area that transports you to another world.

In addition, Barrique offers a small plate approach with a large emphasis on sharing. If you are like my friends and I and love sharing a ton of food, this is the perfect spot. Some of my favorite menu items include the Shrimp Oreganato Pizza and the Goat Cheese Ravioli.

*Note: the food comes out when it’s ready and not all at the same time

No matter what you order, save room for dessert! Barrique serves up mason jar desserts (available to go) including canoli and strawberry shortcake. For more information about Barrique, click HERE!

Swell Taco (4.5 google rating)

If you’re looking for a spot with a great vacation vibe in Babylon, head to Swell Taco. Their back patio area has that tropical feel and is a great spot to drink a margarita on your “fakecation.” Swell Taco is family owned and operated with a mission to provide a dining experience similar to the family parties they grew up with in Southern California.

In addition to their inside seating, Swell Taco offers a back area with open windows to sit down for a meal. Whether you’re coming home from the beach with sandy feet or suited up from work, the door is open.  Come as you are and kick back, enjoy the tunes, cold drinks, good vibes, great company and of course, amazing food. Horace & Sylvia’s (4.3 google rating)

When I lived in Babylon, one of my favorite restaurants was Horace & Sylvia’s. Their menu can suit any palate, but my favorite dish was their Lobster and Shrimp Empanada. What I loved most about visiting, was sitting outside at their sidewalk tables. They were great for people watching and close enough that the server didn’t forget about you. Horace & Sylvia’s has never disappointed me and I encourage you to check it out. For more information, click HERE!
