Four Days of Music, Community, and Waterfront Vibes Set to Take Over Patchogue This July

Long Island’s beloved summer tradition is back—and bigger than ever. The Great South Bay Music Festival is celebrating its 18th anniversary with an unforgettable four-day lineup of music, art, food, and community spirit. From July 23–26, 2026, the scenic grounds of Shorefront Park in Patchogue will transform into a vibrant hub for music lovers of all ages.

With a powerhouse lineup, immersive experiences, and a mission rooted in giving back, this year’s festival promises to be one of the most exciting yet.

Line Up for the Great South Bay Music Festival

One of the most anticipated performances comes from Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, who will take the stage on Saturday, July 25. Fresh off the success of his critically acclaimed album Indigo Park, Hornsby continues to redefine his sound, earning praise from major outlets and captivating both longtime fans and new audiences.

Four Days, Four Distinct Experiences

Each day of the festival offers its own unique vibe, giving attendees a reason to come back again and again.

Thursday: Throwback Emo & Pop-Punk Night

The festival kicks off with a nostalgic bang, featuring bands that defined the late ‘90s and early 2000s emo and alternative scene. Expect high energy, sing-along anthems, and a crowd full of throwback vibes.

Friday: Rock-Reggae Beach Party

A fan-favorite tradition returns with a reggae-rock celebration that brings island energy to Long Island. Sublime headlines in a rare New York summer appearance, joined by Common Kings and The Ries Brothers for a night of laid-back grooves and beachy rhythms.

Saturday: Jam Day

Saturday delivers a deep dive into improvisational music and musical exploration. Headlined by Govt. Mule and featuring Bruce Hornsby, Sierra Hull, and LaMP, this day is perfect for fans who appreciate artistry and extended live performances.

Sunday: A Grand Finale

Closing out the weekend, My Morning Jacket will headline with an expansive, genre-blending set. Supporting them is Little Feat on their farewell tour, making this a can’t-miss sendoff to an incredible weekend.

The festival also continues its commitment to showcasing emerging local artists, giving over 27 performers a platform to shine.

Beyond the music and festivities, the Great South Bay Music Festival remains deeply connected to the Long Island community. A portion of every ticket sold supports the GSB-Stony Brook Cancer Center Fund, contributing to a cause that has already raised over a quarter of a million dollars.

Additionally, the festival provides space for local organizations to raise awareness and support causes such as homelessness, pet rescue, and voter registration.
