Huntington Kicks Off the Holidays in Spectacular Style
The magic of the holiday season returns to Huntington Village as thousands of Long Islanders gather for one of the most anticipated community traditions of the year — The Huntington Holiday Parade. This year’s celebration takes on a festive twist with a nautical theme, honoring the town’s rich maritime heritage while bringing holiday cheer to the streets.
Hosted by Supervisor Ed Smyth and the Huntington Town Board, the parade will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 5:30 PM, officially launching the holiday season in grand fashion.
A Night to Remember in the Heart of Huntington
The Huntington Holiday Parade kicks off from Home Depot on New York Avenue and makes its way through the village, ending at Main Street and West Neck Road. Expect to see dazzling floats, marching bands, community groups, local businesses, and costumed participants — all creatively decked out in the parade’s nautical holiday theme.
Each year, thousands of spectators line the streets to experience the sights, sounds, and warmth of the season. Many attendees make a day of it — shopping, dining, and celebrating in the local restaurants and boutiques that make Huntington Village such a vibrant holiday destination.
The Huntington Holiday Spectacular & Tree Lighting on Wall Street
The excitement doesn’t end when the last float passes by. Immediately following the parade, the crowd gathers on Wall Street for the Huntington Holiday Spectacular, a month-long celebration that begins with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
This festive event features live music performances, special guests, and plenty of holiday spirit. This years special guests include actor Ralph Macchio and musical guest Tyler Hilton. This year promises more surprises as the community comes together to count down and light the beautiful Huntington Christmas Tree.
The Huntington Holiday Spectacular, proudly sponsored by Northwell Health, runs from November 29 through January 4, transforming Wall Street into a glowing winter wonderland filled with family-friendly activities and seasonal displays.
Please note: Wall street will be closed between Main Street and Gerard from Nov.14-Jan.14.

Those who wish to participate in the parade can now submit their applications online. Floats, performers, community organizations, and local businesses are all encouraged to join in the fun and creativity of this year’s nautical theme.
