Our mission has always been to spread awareness of the incredible local businesses across Long Island—and what better way to do that than with a contest that lets you nominate and vote for your favorites?
What Are the Local’s Choice Awards?
The Local’s Choice Awards are all about celebrating the businesses that make our communities unique. Whether it’s your go-to brunch spot, favorite boutique, trusted service provider, or the place you love to unwind, this is your chance to give them the recognition they deserve.
Categories include:

🍷 Sip – Bars, breweries, wineries, and coffee shops
🛍 Shop – Local retailers and specialty stores
🏠 Live – Services that make life better
🎉 Enjoy – Entertainment, activities, and experiences

What Makes The Local’s Choice Awards Different?
Unlike many “Best Of” competitions, The Local’s Choice Awards will honor 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in every category. It’s completely free to nominate and vote—no pay-to-play, no hidden fees.
You can nominate and vote once a day in each category, and we’ll be monitoring voting closely to ensure fairness by preventing bots, fake accounts, or abuse.
And because Long Island is huge, we’re breaking the contest into two parts:
Suffolk County (happening now)
Nassau County (coming early 2026)
