Tommy Tacos

Tommy Tacos is a locally owned establishment in Huntington, founded by Tommy and his wife Elisa in July 2020. Bringing nearly 30 years of experience from some of New York’s top restaurants, Tommy aimed to set a new standard for fast-casual cuisine in the area.

His philosophy centers around delivering delicious, freshly made food with love. Tommy dedicates significant time to source the highest-quality ingredients, employing meticulous preparation methods such as slow-braising pork, chicken, and brisket for hours.

Signature dishes like the birria tacos, which are a daily sell-out, showcase the exceptional quality. Steaks are trimmed before marinating and searing, ensuring perfection in every bite. Daily in-house preparation includes crafting marinades, salsas, guacamole, and corn fritter batter with fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Tommy’s commitment extends to using 100% nixtamalized corn tortillas for added nutrition. The menu also features unique “Agua Frescas” made from fresh fruits, along with delightful desserts like churro funnel cake. Special pop-up items like whoopie pies, crispy rice treats, brownies, and more add an extra touch.
