Summertime is here which means it’s time to enjoy all the food that comes along with it. One of my favorite meals of Summer is having a lobster dinner with all the fixings so I’m writing this article in honor of all my lobster lovers out there. Here are some of the best spots serving up Lobster on Long Island!

43 Green at Finleys

(Huntington, NY)

43 Green is the newest restaurant to hit the Huntington restaurant scene and is located inside Finley’s of Green Street. On Thursday nights, they offer a Lobster special that includes a 1 1/4 pound steamed Lobster with fresh corn and a baked potato for $26.95!

In addition, on Wednesday’s you can enjoy All You Can Eat Mussels for $18.95 and includes fries and crostini! 43 Green also offers a ton of outdoor seating on their front or back patio and an outside bar open on Fridays and Saturdays. To read more about 43 Green, click HERE!

Popei’s has been a staple for seafood and Lobster on Long Island since the early 80’s and this summer they are not screwing around with their Lobster options! They offer a Whole Lobster, Twin Whole Lobsters, Stuffed Lobster, Overstuffed Lobster, and even a small or large Clam Bake option. For more information and pricing, head to their website HERE!

Sunken Meadow Seafood Fest

For those of you looking for more of a “beachy” lobster dinner, head to Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park on Wednesday nights from 5pm-sunset. At field 1 on the boardwalk, you’ll find the seafood fest presented by the Lessings Hospitality Group which also features live music. Jackson Hall

If you’re looking for Lobster on Long Island that comes in all forms including a Lobster Bomb, look no further. Jackson Hall in East Islip is home to the Best Lobster Rolls on Long Island, their famous Lobster Bomb, and also offers up Lobster Dinners as well!

Chef Mike Landesberg is all about making his customers happy and offers up live lobsters at $29.95 per pound or stuffed with jumbo crab meat for $36.95 per pound which come with any 2 sides anyday of the week. In addition, give Chef Mike 48 hours notice and he can snag you any size lobster between 2-10lbs!

Frank’s Steaks located in Rockville Centre, has been named “The Best Skirt Steak on Earth” by Zagat and “Best Steakhouse on LI” by the LI Herald. Frank’s doesn’t stop there. They also offer their Annual Summer Lobster Feast which features a 2lb Maine lobster served with choice of Caesar or Frank’s salad and corn on the cob for $70 plus tax and gratuity. When you visit Jordan Lobster Farms, you’ll experience the warm feeling of New England’s old world charm. They pride themselves on offering the highest quality seafood and optimal customer service and acts as a restaurant and seafood store.

This summer, they are offering a take out special of Fresh Maine Lobsters 3 for $48 and are 1-1.25lb each. You can have them live or steamed and are only while supplies last. If you prefer to dine at their restaurant, they offer weekly specials on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday incuding 2lb Tuesday/Thursday and Wild Wednesday. The Wantagh Inn

The Wantagh Inn opened on December 8th, 1984 and their unique charm has been evolving for the past 38 years.  Their menu is varied, with specials changing daily, including fresh fish & steaks. If you’re looking for Lobster on Long Island, head to the Wantagh Inn on Mondays.

On Monday’s this summer, they are offering up “Lobster Night” for $34 that includes a 1 1/2 lb lobster steamed, boiled, or oreganata style with corn on the cob and baked potato. They are located on Railroad Avenue, just across from the Wantagh train station and for more information, click HERE!
