High Quality, Sustainable And Environmentally Conscious: Adamah Seafood Gallery

Adamah Seafood

In the heart of Laurelton, Queens, Adamah Seafood Gallery stands as a testament to the passion and dedication of its owners, Toni and Vestor.  Vestor was a fisherman by hobby, but after retiring, Toni soon turned his beloved hobby into a local business.

Adamah Seafood Gallery, established in October 2019, initially faced the hurdles of the pandemic, but the adversity soon became an opportunity. They pivoted to a fresh seafood delivery service, meeting the increased demand for high quality seafood at home. As COVID restrictions eased, they transitioned to farmers markets, street fairs, and opened a store in Laurelton.

Toni and Vestor’s commitment to quality is evident in their sourcing process. They exclusively partner with well-known distributors, vetting them for the highest standards. With Vestor’s firsthand knowledge as a fisherman, they ensure that only the best reaches their customers.

Environmental consciousness is at the core of their values, ensuring the vendors give back to the ocean and the earth.  97% of their seafood is wild-caught and the remaining is responsibly sourced. The name “Adamah,” borrowed from Hebrew in Genesis, translates to “ground” or “earth.” It symbolizes the rooted connection to the source of their seafood.

Vestor is in charge of catching the fish, while Toni, a culinary enthusiast, transforms them into delectable dishes. Their website, adamagallery.com, serves as a platform where Toni shares her culinary experiments, offering insights into various recipes.

Adamah Seafood Gallery Offerings

Adamah Seafood Gallery boasts an array of offerings, including king crab, Alaskan crab, Dungeness crab, salmon, swordfish and much more. Occasionally, they introduce turf options, like Ribeye, to complement their seafood selection for a Surf and Turf experience. They also provide valuable tips for cooking their products, such as steaming crabs instead of boiling to ensure an optimal dining experience.

Recognizing the nutritional benefits of seafood, Adamah Seafood Gallery emphasizes the importance of omega-3 in our diets. They prefer frozen seafood, employing an individually quick frozen (IQF) method that preserves freshness and nutrients.

Tony’s unique seasoning, crafted from low-sodium fresh herbs, enhances the flavors without compromising on health.  In their philosophy, herbs are not just seasonings; they are medicine. Adamah Seafood Gallery encourages customers to embrace a healthier lifestyle through the consumption of nutritious seafood and the medicinal properties of herbs.

For those eager to experience Adamah Seafood Gallery’s offerings, they can be found online at adamahgalley.com. Additionally, their Instagram page (@adamah_gallery_seafood) keeps followers updated on upcoming events, making it easy for seafood enthusiasts to locate them at various markets and fairs.

Adamah Seafood Gallery is more than a culinary venture; it’s a celebration of quality, sustainability, and the joy of sharing exceptional seafood with the community.  For more information, visit their website here
