Sweetie's

If you’ve ever driven down 25A in Huntington, chances are you’ve passed the cute, little yellow candy cottage known as Sweeties located at 142 East Main Street. Owner, Lisa Hodes, bought the business back in 2005 as a single mother trying to balance life and kids and had zero experience in chocolate making!

Lisa believes in not following the rules when it comes to chocolate making, which can be seen in her Smoreobars, Tiramasu Truffles and Snicker Bark! She has become of a master of her craft and is always thinking up new ways to create new products. Her best seller is her “Better than a Cupcake” which is 2 chocolate chip cookies, filled with icing and then dipped in homemade chocolate. They are to die for. If you don’t get one the next time you stop in, you are depriving yourself of a magical treat.

Sweeties Offerings

This local sweet shop offers a ton of candy, including nostalgic items like Razzles or Biemans, and has a huge toy selection as well! They can create a custom gift basket for any occasion and can even wrap it! Sweeties is known to be THE place for the holiday and event candy needs! Lisa creates options for every occasion including Halloween, Thanksgiving, bridal showers and so many more! She offers a ton of Halloween candy options like her Spooky Chocolate Covered Oreos and creates an entire Thanksgiving meal made out of chocolate! If you have an engagement party or baby or bridal shower coming up, they will create the cutest party favors around… and they’re delicious!
