Woman Owned Pizzeria Opens on LI: Tori T’s Pizzeria

Tori T's Pizzeria

Tori T’s Pizzeria Opens This Saturday April 6th in Malverne!

Tori T’s pizzeria is not your average Long Island slice spot…it’s one of the only woman owned pizzeria’s on Long Island!!! Originally from the Bronx, Victoria Tiso grew up in the pizza world with her father and uncle who owned Louie & Ernie’s where she learned all the ins and outs to a successful pizzeria.

Owner of Tori Ts Pizzeria Victoria Tiso

After learning everything she could from Louie & Ernie’s and perfecting the old school traditional NY slice, she went on to work for a food truck that was Neopolitan based and learned new styles of pizza making. After that, Tori worked for John Gristina, a world pizza champion, who owns Pizza Fenice in Westchester, and learned how to master the Detroit style pizza.

Tori than took all of her knowledge and combined it into her own style: Pizza with no limitations. After 40 years, her father recently retired and Tori decided it was time to go out of her own. She found the perfect spot to make all of her dreams come true right here on Long Island in Malverne.

Her menu offers pie styles such as the NY Style Thin Crust, Red or White Based NY Style Thin Crust, Grandma, or Detroit style. By the slice, you can score a NY slice, a Sicilian, a Grandma, a Detroit or a Specialty slice and for appetizers you’ll find options like garlic knots, mozzarella sticks and rice balls. Tori also offers salads, hero’s, pasta dishes and entrees including Tori Cutlets: Chicken cutlet, mozzarella, broccoli rabe garlic & oil.

Don’t miss your chance to try Tori’s creations at the Grand Opening of Tori T’s Pizzeria this Saturday April 6th at 360 Hempstead Ave, Malverne, NY. Show some love and support to this new local business by visiting and following Tori T’s on Instagram here!
